    Alex founded Lilly Surveyors with over 20 years of experience across the construction and property sectors. Throughout his career, he has surveyed everything from commercial hubs and healthcare facilities to local authority and educational buildings. However, his true passion lies in residential property surveys—helping homebuyers make smart, safe, and informed decisions.

    Alex studied Building Surveying at the University of Reading and began his career in Cornwall. After gaining valuable experience on complex projects in London, he returned to his home county to establish Lilly Surveyors.

    Having spent most of his life and career in Cornwall, Alex has an unmatched understanding of the region’s unique property stock. A keen cyclist and rugby player, he brings the same discipline and focus to his work that it took to complete the iconic, unassisted 1,000-mile Land's End to John O'Groats cycling challenge. He is also a dedicated father who loves embracing Cornwall’s outdoor lifestyle with his family.
